This is a test post inspired by this piece on the Living Business blog.

Normally, I use Windows Live Writer but have been looking for a replacement since I read that Microsoft is ceasing development of Writer.

Using Word as your blog editor gives you all the advantages and familiarity of the Microsoft application.  It gives you access to your blog Categories (in WordPress, anyway) but not to your Tags (which Writer does).

I don’t think Word will become my default blogging tool yet but it’s a useful fall-back.
