The occasional visitor has far less fun than you might expect. That’s because without habits, every decision requires attention. And attention is exhausting.

That’s a useful concept to ponder for a content marketer. Cognitive load is a real challenge … and the answer is NOT more muzak. You need to make content easy to engage with, but not so friction-free that nothing sticks.
