Getting a Job in 2025–Lynda Gratton

This piece from the European Business Review is extracted from Lynda Gratton’s book, The Shift.

It’s quite a nice summary of the areas of work that will see growth over the next few years including, unsurprisingly, “micro-entrepreneurship”:

“Although we can still expect large companies to exist in 2025, proportionally we can expect more people to work for themselves, or with a small group of other people”

As far as I can see, there is nothing here that is not in the book itself, but it’s a useful summary if you haven’t (yet) read the whole thing.
